Super G/ Shop & Save/ Shop-Rite - Warminster

Warminster Town Center, 942 W. Street Rd; opened approx. 1997 as Giant-MD's Super G store, right near a Giant-PA Giant. Despite having a slightly different name, the name "Giant" being on the products and fliers made it quite confusing to customers. After they became the same company in 1999, the store was divested to Supervalu as a Shop & Save, then sold to Shop-Rite in early 2001.

Super G/ Shop & Save/ Shop-Rite - Norristown

Norriton Square, 55 E. Germantown Ave; opened approx. 1993. Was divested to Supervalu in 1998, which made it part of their western PA Shop & Save chain; it was then sold to Shop-Rite in early 2001 along with the Warminster store. The center has been around since 1975; I'm not sure what was here before the Super G was built.
